QuickTopups — Digital Recharge & Voucher Platform

Pakistan's digital payments ecosystem spans multiple wallet providers and banks — EasyPaisa, JazzCash, Askari Bank, Allied Bank, and Zindagi — each with its own integration requirements, security standards, and transaction flows. The business needed a single recharge and voucher platform that could plug into all major channels and process top-ups, bill payments, and voucher redemptions reliably at scale.

I built QuickTopups as a production-grade digital payments platform using Next.js on the frontend and Node.js on the backend. The system handles instant mobile recharge, utility bill payments, and digital voucher redemption through deep integrations with Pakistan's top financial apps and banks.

The platform was architected for high transaction throughput, with clear separation between payment orchestration, partner API adapters, and the customer-facing interface. Each banking and wallet integration was implemented as a modular connector, making it straightforward to onboard new partners without disrupting existing flows.

Key challenges included normalizing disparate payment APIs into a unified transaction model, ensuring idempotent payment processing to prevent duplicate charges, and maintaining sub-second response times during peak recharge periods.
